blitz for progress?

i play shogi seriously for 2 years now...
i wanted to try something else...
in shogi engagement is slower...
maybe i return to shogi after...
@Spinoza13 I've pondered trying my hand at Shogi a few times, back in college I used to play Xiangqi but was never very good at it compared to the native players.

Any recommendations for a good Shogi site?

Also learning chess I recommend looking at one ChessNetwork on YouTube. Fantastic videos.
@ Spinoza13
I used to long ago. But there was too little competition in Europe at the time (and probably still now). So I had to choose between letting it go or moving to Japan. I sadly had to let it go.
I beat Teruichi Aono once in an epic game. More proud of that than anything I've done in chess.
@Convenient thx for the advices
the best shogi site for non-japanese is 81 dojo
it s in english (and others langages)
you can speak with people
you can try too shogi wars it s more funny and beautiful but only 3 games per day if you can t pay
in fact i played go and shogi
and i think chess is a good complement to these two games...
most of the chess player can have good sensations on shogiban
and shogi is a kind of mix between go and chess
