Oh..... sorry mods because i wrote about mods also when i was chatting with my friend.... i wrote that i don't like mods here because they are not friendly... if any mod read my chat, i should say sorry for it.... anyway, next time i'll mind it....
This is not WhatsApp where you can tell someone's read your message by the tick turning blue, there's no feature like that here. :\
But are mods too free here to read others chat ? I don't think so.... anyway, i like friendly mods and they are not on Lichess...... and i don't like flattery so told straight forward....
I have never encountered, nor even heard of, a mod acting in an unfriendly way on lichess in over 5 years on the site. How is it that it took you less than a month to find unfriendly mods?
As to the OP, perhaps sending a follow-up message asking for a confirmation that the message has been read might work?
#14 it is strange here that we can't talk with mods through direct messgae.... that's why i thought they are not friendly because before this i have chatting experience with mods on other site and it was cool.... i'm not telling for any specific person, just giving my opinion but i can understand that mods have their own issues not to talk through DM so it's ok. But i didn't like this feature on Lichess.
You can talk with mods through direct message-- you just can't use the DMing as a "report" function. Mods are people, too.

I don't remember but i read somewhere that members shouldn't send DM to mods.... don't know exactly where i read this on Lichess.... and i don't know who are mods here ? Just i sent 2 times message them (as my friend told they are mod) to ask something about this site when i was new here but didn't get any response... that's why i thought they are not friendly... nothing else... we are also people and we make our opinion on the basis of our experience... as i liked 3 mods on Chess.com because they were my good friends... and now i'm not on that site but still have respect for them.... here i didn't feel that type of connection...that's all.
@Searchingyou there are probably like tens of thousands of users on lichess, maybe even more, and they might send thousands of messages to thibault and the likes every day, so I don't think they can read em all. Here's some advice for u to get to know this site: Gameplay is same as chess.com, with a few more variants. If you want to know all about a certain variant, join a tournament of the variant, u should see a link on the variant name in the top-left corner. Forums are (mostly lol) friendly here, and im not sure if there are on other sites, but there are teams on lichess, u can join them with community-team-and u can join. uhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh yeah there are too many thing on lichess xD... Ok well u can read the ToS, the description, should be in this site somewhere. IDK where, im noob at navigating around the site, try asking others, hope this helped u. 😄😄😄😄😄😄
