2015, Black (Sarg0n) was somewhat worse but got the chance to plunder. The white King fell into the water and soon the Black piranhas were coming.
White probably did not see the queen sacrifice 19...Qxc1, otherwise he might have defended with 19 Rc2.
Yeah, probably. Since it is losing...
Btw, ...Rc2 and Nc3 is not easy to handle otb without an engine I guess.

Nice queen sacrifice.
Almost as nice as Kasparov's queen sacrifice against Kramnik.

Very nicely played!
Was that even a sacrifice, though? You get a rook and two pieces pretty much by force.

Queen sacrifices are often missed by one or both players. It is often good to give a Queen for a rook and a piece and some immaterial compensation, but it is not even considered as we were all taught as beginners to respect the Queen.
An actual Queen Sac:
Finally a proper Queen sac thread instead of the other games that were rode off pure luck, cos their "qUeEn SaCrIfIcEs" can come across as blunders but after YOUR Queen sacrifice you were still winning and you actually TOOK pieces with you.
