score reward inconsistancies

smiles .. been down this avenue before doing stats .. "basically", means ABSOLUTELY NOTHING ... lol.. ok .. so i need a lichess operations to explain .. remember .. ASSUME always makes an ASS out of U and ME !
I don't think we really need 100% proof here. Lichess uses the glicko rating system which is explained in the link. If you want your answer then it will be there.
The answer is either A) in the algorithm in the link or B) something that we don't have access to as we are not lichess employees.

When I say basically that does mean something as it's still based on the same framework. Any modifications would be pretty small and would not fundamentally change the algorithm. Don't get hung up in details that don't matter.

In order to give you an answer we are going to assume for the moment that the algorithms are the same as if they are not than your question is not answerable at the moment.
@quietcricket lichess operations have more pressing matters than explaining something it is publicly explained and also implemented in open source where you can check the paramaters used like minimum rd etc... not that clicko has too many. also the algorithm also is version 2 which has the derivate term which all you can google yourselves. Of google lichess source code (or find the link on this site) then go by clicking

Just to save 3-7 seconds of you life: github.com/ornicar/lila/tree/master/modules/rating/src/main
It is there in detail how it works
if you have ever been to university you may already know google and wiki are non trustworthy as references or accuracy.. please avoid this discussion as you make lichess sound worse over this issue at every utter... ""basically "" . . ""assume "".. if it is open source and clearly defined to run as a server based runtime application .. then it PRECISE and no assumptions required .. you may be good at chess but are rather illiterate as to propaganda versus fact ... as i have asked, please stop hammering away at a screw with a hammer .. some one knows and shall tell me sooner or later .. i find it troubling to see how mamny jusy take things for granted and are afraid of asking open questions when cant understand what is happening .. a few accurate pointers as to finding the proceedures in the ACTUAL RUNTIME CODE .. is all it takes .. to someone that knows .. it is very quick to notate and help... they are too busy .. smiles .. i like that non complemtary excuse .. if they werent busy running this amazing site i would be worried the admin was sitting on their hands .. this is BIG SITE to maintain .. cheers to all agaIN .. anyone here ever done debugging when they used to worry about beta versions bvefore going hot .. our questions help them debug as there are always bugs in system . . sigh .. smiles . .not al lhave had that type of learning but it is not uncommon
google .. there you go .. smiles .. 5 monkeys and ladder bannanas .. 1 minute read to understand this maybe type of opposition

worth your minute for everone .. and if you do not recognise its meaning .. sorry
part of allagory reasoning

The five monkeys experiment, therefore, teaches us that we need to be constantly challenging ourselves to look at things from a new light, to question things that don’t always feel right, and to avoid using the excuse of “we’ve always done it this way” to avoid trying new things and branching out in new directions. In other words, if we want that “banana”, there are times that we’re going to need to get creative, or let those new employees try new things.
My simple usage of the word basically should not be taken as evidence that I am not thinking about things in intelligent way, especially considering all of the grammatical issues you have, and that you say it make lichess sounds worse is a rather odd statement.

Nobody has said "we've always done it that way" in this discussion. What are you even talking about lol? You're just going off on a tangent.

Your question was a rather simple one, and it was answered in a rather simple way. You are not understanding this and just complicating matters when everyone else knows what's going on except you. This is a clear example of the Dunning-Kreuger effect.

petri999 and I tried to give rather concise answers with links to other resources. If you prefer to pretend that you are so smart then go ahead and bother lichess employees so they can give you the exact answer that we already know.

This question has been answered and this discussion is now over. Mods please close.
and ass to previsous answer: What makes you think ornicar/lila is not the code being deployed? I do admit that it possible that tip file might be newer that deployd file os some rare cases. Rating algorithm is not one these cases.
I’m not sure why this conversation drifted to creativity of thought.

It’s a simple statistical discussion. You’re “open ended questions” are because you can’t understand something extremely simple.
