#1 I wish you had the titles of these books on your posted list. In case this book is not on your list, I would recommend a book called "Winning Chess Traps" by Irving Chernev. The word traps on this book is almost a misnomer...as it has very practical examples of opening mistakes... that may seem to be simple good opening developmental moves...but will result in the forced loss of a piece. There are some splendid examples of these mistakes being made by some of the great masters of the past. I think many pre internet book players have a copy of this book. My copy is in descriptive notation. It is not just a beginner book. :]
