As an add-on to no.8, I do think you should consider the option of just using a team forum if you must use lichess as a medium.

Being the person to make a thread does not make it yours. Why would just making a thread mean that you could have the ability to stop any people you want to from posting on it.
If somebody is trolling on a thread you’ve made, then report them. If they get banned, they were trolling. If they don’t get banned, they weren’t. It’s as simple as that.
Another issue with your idea is that Lichess mods will get tons of requests by blocked people: "Why am i blocked from this thread? Its unfair! Unblock me!".
To say it very clear, the idea is terrible and hopefully never gets implemented.
And btw, the best way to have peace is to refrain from posting in the forum.
Chess.com gives this facility to OP and that is a good facility. I gave this suggestion to change blocking features here also and i request to Lichess staff (if here is any staff) to think about it.

If 20 or 30 people are downvoting your post, then that means that they don’t agree with you, yes. But are you saying that all those 20 or 30 people are wrong, and you alone are right?????
We literally just explained why this feature just won’t work..... and then all you do is downvote our explanations and say that it should be implemented because chess dot com has it.......

Chess.com is providing this extra facility to OP. You told your opinion on this thought and now we can stop this discussion here. Mods can check better and i'll suggest them to check other sites also to make Lichess forums better.
Forum: a place, meeting, or medium where ideas and views on a particular issue can be exchanged.
What you are proposing is not this.
@Searchingyou Thibault and the other devs will anyway not care about requests posted here, use
github.com/ornicar/lila/issues for that.
#18 So your mean if others sites are providing this type of blocking facility, there are no forums ?
Changes should be to make something better and changes happens to improve something.... and this change will be in future on this site... you can note my words today and see how long time it goes to adopt this change here....
