My time in a game goes fast down

this is because premoves are purely client side
if i premove 1...e5 as black
the move only gets sent to lichess when you receive your opponent's move meaning you can still lose on time due to the time it takes to get there

wrong
lag switching in the case of lichess
is when someone fakes having lag to gain the 1 second of compensation
so that they don't lose time in ultra bullet or bullet
do to there 1 second delay they gain by using it

also lag switching is not allowed and if caught is bannable

.
it cannot be caught first off. and secondly if the opponent lag switches,it could happen

it can and has been caught before lichess has banned people for it
and being caught is easy when you play 20 movers with less than a sec
and even if the opponent lag switch wont change the fact that its because of there lag that they weren't in time to see it

No, it hasn't??? lag switching is so dangerous, because it can be a weak connection in reality

well people have been reported and ban i can assure you that a mod can comfirm this
lag switching is dangerous thats not the debate
and also lag switching is normally done with people who have good connections as a bad connection cant be made good by lag switching because they still need good ping to send the move fast

What FICS found (in the 1990s!!!) was that this type of cheating is very easy to detect.

People predicted a huge amount of cheating as a result of openseal and people understanding the algorithm, and it didn't happen.

ICC uses a similar program (based on the same original source code that was written in the 1980s) and they also haven't had much of a problem with it, because people who try can be detected and banned.

Both of those servers have code that detects those cheats *automatically*. There is no legit reason not to offset lag in the code.

The last time anyone got banned for anything besides foul langage or pulling something on the wrong lichess person.

This place is rampant, soaking wet, loaded with people leveraging timing issues here. I've had streaks of games where I lose by 15 seconds to opponents I've been waiting for nearly every move they make the whole match. Most of them have the slow pace down perfect too, they know what they are doing.

It's too bad because otherwise lichess has the best interface I've found for chess and finding games. But half seem like bots these days probably just making us feel like finding games is easy here. Never found one person willing to chat during a game here. Not a peep. half the games or more feel like the opponent is robotic slow pacing wins probably based on leveraging zero ping.

Just lost another way in fact, this time with over 6 seconds left. One move away from slaughtering them of course. My "network connection is lost". How convenient. My nearly 99% uptime internet sure struggles here at times, very convenient times. This place is riddled with people that will target your connection for their ranking plots. It's so sad. It's justt a game. With such capabilities at their disposal they could do great things but they are here loading up the imaginary rank on an imaginary username in lichess. I'm just looking for a good game win or lose.

well the lichess staff said no. theres no chanign that
and i say and have said
make a working solution for lichess and then we compare the 2 by testing them and seeing how hard it is to cheat with time

that is your opinion but i ask what proof do you have to back it up
Other than saying look at the state of games and stuff
can you prove that lichess is not banning people by somehow showing it without shaming them
