I cannot say that I have never had a windmill before but this I believe is the only game winning one I ever played where it did exactly what it was supposed to do. In this case it was a rook-bishop windmill. This blitz game was decided by one tempo as another move from my opponent would have led to a brutal Qa1+ variation. (I would have had to sacrifice the queen prior to Qa1+ in order to prevent checkmate.) Maybe closer to Halloween means scarier Chess games, like this one; en.lichess.org/NJvvil3ge9jT
