In all seriousness, this has been posted on the lichess feedback forums way too many times. Followers don't really matter, this is not Instagram, where follow for follow is the norm. Besides, the number of followers doesn't determine who a person really is. The feature just exists so that you can easily access another person's profile and/or spectate their games. If you do want to access your followers, just go to lichess.org/@/siddharthrc/following

Sometimes you have to fight fire with fire. And it's pretty fire when that happens

The feature existing as a way to easily access someone's profile is reason for it to just stay. Literally has nothing to do with people getting caught up in number of followers. I think that is beside the point.
