Cheaters

#30 Forum is not a place for public shaming. If you're confident someone's cheating, report him to moderators and he will be looked at. Since the guy has already been marked, I'll give you a pass this time.
No one care to answer my question about how long the longest lasting cheater on here persisted before they were found out then lol ?
No I thought not.

Human behaviour can be analysed by humans as well :)

And pointedly not answering a straight question usually means one of two things
1. The person asked does not know the answer
2. The person asked does know the answer but they will not give it because it will crumble their own case

Another interesting one, most if not all of those who have defended this system have one characteristic in common, they all have those little green wing signs next to their name.

I think we could refer to that as a vested interest in supporting the status quo.

So, sorry but none of you have actually answered most of my questions, and most of you seem to have that "vested interest"

Sorry, I cant take you seriously at all, especially when one of you refers to the Dunning Kruger effect in a clear attempt to put down those who make positive suggestions.
In addition he does not then admit how offensive this could be after I have pointed this out..clearly !

Yes fine, you wish to defend the status quo, and you wish to feed the illusion that lichess has amazing cheater detection systems , and you have all contributed financially to lichess, so you likely have a personal vested interest.

I understand that all, but you have not made a good case at all, just the usual huff and puff about how lichess's system is so marvellous

How strange lol, chess.com chess24 and so on all do the same, what a coincidence :)

But its a competitive market, so what else can you all do ?

You wont answer that for sure lol..will you :)

„Human behaviour can be analysed by humans as well :)“

Yeah, stop trolling. Case closed.
Interesting, most of the recent posts have been made by those with those little green wings :)

Pure coincidence of course

Its usually a sign of defensiveness, especially in "companies"

You see that can be analysed and detected too :)
@CMSargon

„Human behaviour can be analysed by humans as well :)“

Yeah, stop trolling. Case closed."

Lol I see, the ultimate in defensiveness.

First of all the locked door "Case Closed"

Then we have the attempt to label opposing views, in this case with the term "Trolling"

You do not impress me at all, your explanations are full of holes, you do not attempt to answer difficult questions, you label others as displaying the Dunning Kruger Effect, and now of trolling !

Its clear that what comes next is either deletion of my posts, locking this thread or taking some action against me.

For disagreeing lol

Yet you feel free to label those who suggest improvements as displaying the Dunning Kruger Effect, and do not acknowledge or apologise for this

Do your worst lol, I give up, indeed it is foolish to keep on banging ones head against brick walls ..isnt it :)

And looks like I am being surrounded by about 4 of those.

C'est la Vie :)
> No one care to answer my question about how long the longest lasting cheater on here persisted before they were found out then lol ?

What exactly are you expecting? Your question is likely impossible to answer. You think every time they mark someone for cheating, they pinpoint when they think they started cheating? And keep a data base of it, so the information can conveniently be retrieved, just to answer your question?
And saying so-and-so had an account for 4 years before they were marked for cheating does not mean anything. They might have started cheating on the last day of those 4 years.

Either way, you are probably correct that it is hard or impossible to quantify how good the algorithms work. But that argument does not only work in the direction of "it's worse than they claim", it also works for "it's better than they claim". We simply don't know, and neither does lichess or chess.com or whoever.
I expect a brick wall, and that is exactly what I have got :)

You seem to neglect mentioning all the other questions I have asked which have not been answered.

You do mention " your question", which suggests you have not read the others..doesnt it :)

Before you make a judgment on that, might you care to start again from the beginning and read all of them..or not ?

Like I said human behavioural patterns can also be analysed and detected by other humans , but you do need a bigger sample than one instance :)
#33 The reasons I'm not answering your stupid question are:
* nothing positive and many negative things can come from answering it
* very likely the answer is already public knowledge so you don't need me to confirm it
I didn't answer any of your other questions because I don't think they're interesting. Fortunately I do not owe you anything, so I can pick and choose.
