Why are Classical players rushing too much?

I play too much ultra XD. Classical is way too slow for me
My focus is on quality chess albeit slow, whereas the majority of my opponents just play quickly. I try to improve my overall abilities, others just wanna flag.

Many players even way beyond 2000 I have met play a bunch of crap - clue: fast!
I've had too many opponents playing like this, so I've pretty much stopped playing rapid / classical online.
I don't learn anything from games where my opponent gets to a lost position out of the opening by blitzing out his first 10-15 moves, so why waste my time on games like that?

To me, it seems like correspondence is the best way to get an opponent who is willing to think for several minutes for most of his moves.
Apart from that, playing OTB is of course a good idea.
@Dr_King_Schultz Maybe this will be interesting for you then www.lichess4545.com/team4545/ People normally use their time in the League.
I don't like correspondence as the opponents really have different amount of time they can afford to spend for the moves, and also you can't learn time management skills there.
How can you blunder unless you rush? Where's the fun in playing perfect chess? :-D

I think that bullet chess is some kind of a azart play, when luck is very important. It's like a roulette when you play several games one by one hopping to win next time. You choose one of several trap openings - oppenent is confused - you win, opponent isn't blundering - you loose. Azart games is addiction that is tansfering to classical chess.

I like classical chess and would play 30+15 games with you.
Quality vs Quantity.
If you want quantity, play without increment time.
If you want quality, play with increment time.

Any combination of time controls can be pleasing, even playing without a clock.

During my week-end leisure time, I play OTB without a clock. Most of my games are semi-rapid and they last max an hour per game. I don't think playing semi-rapid games is rushing a game.
I have noticed even in those leisure games, I can lose my focus and still do errors. It has more to do with my attitude, then the experience I have playing the game.

Since I am no longer progressing, I'm probably repeating the same errors. Maybe it's something as simple as assuming my opponent is always playing well. I'd be playing poorly, if I missed out on the opportunity of capturing my opponents new hanging piece.

I have learned that chess is more than just theory and practice. Besides strategy and tactics, the methods we use, the knowledge we know and the wisdom we have gained are all important factors that help us to win games.

Maybe the solution to help progress is playing with increment time. The quality of the games should improve, because there is no exact end time.

Try to enjoy your leisure games without the pressure of the clock or the opponent trying to make you lose on time.
When I play rapid games...let's say 15/10 or 20 minutes. I often I got some questions on the chat like:

are you still there ?
are you gonna move ?

so what I do now it's to disable the chat when I play longer games.
