you need to stay awake if you want to take part in the lichess mega battle if you're an indian. for some areas it is also at midnight.
How I think is most of the top ranked players play that tournament so even it's night for us, it's daytime for them that's why lichess keeps tournament at night for Indians. THIS IS THE WAY I THINK THIS MAY NOT BE CORRECT.
