Regium: Extraordinary Claims Require Extraordinary Evidence

@Gowez this does show the main flaw of sites like Indiegogo and Kickstarter. I have been burned before by people who had successful projects on them in the past. But in case of these guys, surely you ask them to show a working prototype before letting them ask for $600 or more for a chessboard.

It really is ridiculous, which is why I rarely back projects these days. You can't stop payment with credit card either. I tried it with another project that failed and that was rejected by Discover and Chase
So it appears that the score during half-time is

Regarding the 1 mln pledge - if they had the real product they could easily have 10.000 of orders. i see eboards from *Tal Game Technology on most of the more important tournaments - the youtube viewers of chess channels in the last 10 years have risen from 10.000 to over 500.000 people (some are not interested in playing just watching the show) they are all over the world but still i think many would be interested in such a product.

FYI: www.WholesaleChess.com has the “Deluxe Black Wood Chess Board” (the one featured in Regium’s “FAQs” video) in various sizes, as well as several others by that same manufacturer (Rechapados Ferrer).
@thibault would be remiss if I didn't note that it appears that CGI/masking, and not stop-motion is behind at least the second vid, if not the first. Another masking error may be found during a couple of frames during 0:12 of the original video, where the moving pawn has an appendage on its left.
