Should you let a player know they have been tagged as using computer chess assistance?

I have seen a few people posting questions asking why they can't find games all of a sudden or something similar. I then notice that they have been flagged as using computer chess assistance.

When they are posting this type of question, is it considered OK to let them know they have been flagged and how to file a confession/appeal?

If they already know they have been flagged, then letting them know what their option is seems alright. I don't know what the etiquette is if they don't seemingly know yet.

Kinda ironic...

There is a way to appeal against a ban, and in some cases, it was even successfull. So I think, it must be okay to tell them.
