When will this extension be available on Firefox?
@Chess_Player121 No, sorry.
The only problem I have with the extension is that it doesn't really support dark mode on lichess, outlined moves have a white background no matter what mode I'm using

I've tried porting this extension to Firefox without any changes on the code and it worked.
Could you explain why not wanting to add it on Mozilla Add-ons?

I haven't uploaded a single extension to Mozilla Add-ons because I'm not tech-savvy enough to develop an extension, but I used the 3rd method of the guide robots.net/tech/how-to-use-chrome-extensions-on-firefox to get it work on firefox and it worked. To upload the extension to firefox you could get help from extensionworkshop.com/documentation/develop/porting-a-google-chrome-extension/

thanks for this! Will try it! :)
could you add that clicking on the addon icon turns highlighting on/off?
Also, the colors themselves are too bright. They should be customizable or more muted, fitting into the colour scheme of lichess.
Is the code available?

I like it, can you port it to Mozilla Firefox store perhaps ? Much appreciated either way !

@danbock I found a little bug : the extension considers Qxh7 and Qxh7+ as the same move, but think that Qxh7# isn't the same move as Qxh7.
