Quad Swiss

I like the clear format of lichess.org, it is easy to use. I would like the coders to consider a "quad - swiss" tournament as well as the arena.
In a quad there are four rounds, each player plays against four opponents out of the group.
The best game for this is a 10 min rapid..
First, welcome. (I guess.)

Everybody loves LiChess because it is light-weight, quick, responsive, fast, and has awesome developers and programming, and none of that advertising crap that weighs-down and causes bloat and speed/responsiveness issues. (Welcome! To the Awesome Zone.)

Second, there's a small bit of history behind the "Swiss." This website was grown Organically. (Grass Roots, no advertising push.) Swiss requires a certain number of users be available in the first place, and then it requires you wait for the next game. The "Arena" format accommodates not having to wait for the next round, and can theoretically operate with a limited number of players. (In theory is not reality: The "arena" system, such as is noticed in variants, has some matching and paring issues when there is a limited supply of players.)

As for the Swiss system, including Quad Swiss ... here's a hint ... it's on the [distant] horizon. (As popularity grows, the more traditional, formal system may come back into style; however this will depend upon expanding servers and resources; and thus donations to keep the cause alive.)

Best I got. Welcome to the Awesome Zone that is LiChess.
