Petition to bring back 15 +15

15+15 still counts as "classic" on the site, just click "custom."

It's just that if it isn't on the home screen the queue times will be much longer to find a player who is a similar rank to you

Yeah that's true especially seen as they haven't changed it on mobile

Problem with 30/20 that it can take way over an hour. That is just too much for better part of people. Original reason for 15/15 was that there were very few games playen on longer than 15/15 or 30.

In a sense if this increases longer games good. THough I am not convinced but trying out is the only way to know

I usually played only 15+15 and I had feeling that sometimes I am short in time and I need few extra minutes(especially in endings). Also, I think that classic games should have increment so that loosing on time is not possible(I mean if you play classical you would like to have time to think) Having that in mind, I would replace 30+0 with 20+15 so in some average game of 40 moves it is the same, but there is no room for loosing on time if you end up in long endings game.

yes 15 + 15 was my time control of choice while watching TV - time to make a coffee or answer the phone or doorbell.

However happy to migrate to one of the options.

15+10 is a classic norm that our club rapidplay tournaments use so change makes sense.

30+20 is available now - awesome!

+1. 15/15 is the best classical time format. If someone leaves the game in between when they start losing I don't want to wait 30 minutes to see if they made a move or not. For those saying you can still choose 15/15 from custom, it takes a long time to find the opponent with close enough rating.
