how do we implement it? we cant. the politicians can.

what can they do? for example, fridays for future did create a study showing a path to an +1.5d future. sorry, ive got only a german link: fridaysforfuture.de/studie/ but as greta says: the solutions are out there. thats why she says they may be seen as evil. knowing the facts, knowing the solutions but not acting on this.

Even that was in my school, fridays for future in which we planted trees every friday and cleaned the parks.

Sorry.i guess we all digressed from your original post( me most especially).
Climate change of course is a very real problem yet the most poignant part of your post was the question what about the animals.
For some reason we imagine ourselves as the lords of all creation,perhaps this is to somehow lessen the hidden guilt we feel because of our treatment to our brethren in existence,the animals.
Many will not agree but I believe that animals are our equals and in many ways our betters.no war,no murder,no reckless,wanton destruction of the planet we all call home.
Who has ever looked into the eyes of an animal and not felt a certain connection to something greater than ourselves.
