Starting to hate chess

Clearly chess is not for you. True chess players have a totally different view of the game.
Just because you aren't good at the game doesn't make it a bad game.

Well guess what, im a chess player that decided not to give up in times of hardship and got something useful out of it. Unlike you, you started chess and ended up so pissed you dissing a game that other people enjoy. Oh, and, watch your language.

only 10 cheaters?... that's a lie for sure, I get a notification practically once every 10 games I play that 1 of those games was against a cheater
Actually, I have some advice for you: abandon online chess, find a chess club where you can meet people to play in person over the board, and see what those people are like.

Because chess over the board with people who will want to chat with you and even befriend you is COMPLETELY different from online chess. The respect and the community that you might be looking for can often be found when you play games with people in person. Then chess becomes a pastime and a way to socialize, but it's also interesting and you can think about the game you just played, or even as you are playing, with the other person.

When you play chess with friends, for instance, you can, if you want, do it without ever thinking about: ratings, time controls, winning, losing, disrespectful behaviour. You just play. If you get bored, you end the game. Whatever the result, win or lose or draw, who cares? You play again or you don't play again, or you go out and play soccer or have a beer or whatever. It is just a game. It can be something serious in your life, but it can also be just a game like any other game or just a way to pass the time and socialize. And if you still don't like it, just move on. Find other ways to spend your time. It's not really that big of a deal either way.
