Significant Local Browser Analysis issue

When I run local analysis it drains almost all my CPU and my computer almost crashes. I have a high performance Machine and this is causing a major issue to the point where I can not leave it on and go to a different tab. Everything gets extremely slow and I can almost not do anything else on my computer.

I am confident it is Lichess local analysis that is doing this, because it has happened several times and when I close the tab that was running the analysis my CPU usage immediately goes down by something near 88%. And as I stated my machine is a high performance device and I can easily have many tabs open with other programs. Was using Local analysis and noticed that it changed the options for settings.

I ask that you either give us the option of how much CPU to use or go back to the old method, but it is a major concern.

I can only imagine what issues it is causing for other people if it is causing this issue on my machine.

What are the specs of your machine?

limit how many threads it can use in the settings

There is not an option as part of the lichess analysis to limit the threads/cpu usage there use to be some limitation, but now it is removed. Also before it was not causing this issue even with max memory and cpu settings for the analysis

You can change how much memory and how many CPU threads it's using in the settings.
