Good etiquette in using Resign?

The last three games Ive won ive been in a losing position and won. I was even down a rook and pushed through for a win. Dont resign unless you need to leave.
My experience is that players in my rating range are more likely to resign too soon than too late, particularly in fast time controls where reversals happen constantly even in totally won positions. I'm not going to say "never resign," I think there are positions that are absolutely resignable even at pretty low ratings, but I certainly don't think anyone owes me a resignation out of politeness just because I'm objectively winning.

I do think, if one wishes to play on in an overwhelmingly lost position, one should at least move quickly. It is pretty annoying to see someone 'thinking' for five minutes when they only have one legal move, just because they don't want to make it.

A player has no obligation to move quickly. In a lost position you often have to think to find the toughest resistance or to look for hidden traps and swindles. Every player can use his time as he sees fit.
@LondonBlitz there was a rated game on chess.com that I have blundered an entire Queen.

I said to myself: 'If I can turn this game into a victory, I will never resign again'.

I won that game.

Chess Game is over with the Checkmate only, before that, you always have a chance, especially when your opponent thinks that the game is already won.
I resign a lot of casual games, if I am playing for fun, but I know that I still had a small chance to win, I just don't wanna bother myself trying. I prefer to start a new one...

On rated games, I'm always looking for opportunities, if my opponent's clock is running low, if he can blunder a piece or not, If I can resist even with a rook/queen disadvantage...

I got ELO points in games where most players would have already resigned. And it's worth it!
The OP's assertion is preposterous, devoid of fact. Just another soft sell for turdchess.cxm If things are so good there...Go play chess there. I see your fake complaint as an obvious soft sell tactic. Horrible.
