The game gave me a loss for a clearly drawn game :D

Dear players,
I played a 5 minute game today (granted I didn't play it very well), but in the end my opponent had insufficient material to checkmate me. My opponent only had a king and bishop versus my king and 4 pawns. I am certain that the game should be a draw, but I would be happy to hear a second opinion.

Thanks for the replies and I wish you the best of luck,
Penzioner.
^^ So theoretically there's a possibility to get mated.
Those three pawns of yours made it your loss. Ironic, isn't it. First you're winning because of them, but then you lose, because of them. Lesson: don't have material advantage against non-mating material unless you're sure you have time enough ;)

FIDE Laws of Chess, Article 6.9:
"Except where one of Articles 5.1.1, 5.1.2, 5.2.1, 5.2.2, 5.2.3 applies, if a player does not complete the prescribed number of moves in the allotted time, the game is lost by that player. However, the game is drawn if the position is such that the opponent cannot checkmate the player’s king by any possible series of legal moves."

Helpmates can be achieved through a possible series of legal moves.
All your comments were very helpful. I definitely learned something. Thanks for the help and sorry for the stupid question, I just completely missed the possibility of a mate.
Best wishes,
Penzioner
Yeah, my engine didn't see what was going to happen, the opponent engine quickly saw it though, props to Sissa. ;)

I was watching and saw the sudden mate eval and was like "What?", surely the longest combination that ends with a single minor piece mating that I have ever seen in an actual game.
