Flagging or fast calculation: the controversy of Bullet chess

Hello! I recently found myself experimenting with various time controls that I usually would avoid, and I noticed that the category of bullet chess is quite controversial with its time controls, ranging from Slow Bullet (2+1) to Hyperbullet (1/2+0).
Is it really wise to mix in the rating pools of such different modes, especially when the playstyle is completely different (relying mostly on flagging in the latter)?
I personally believe there should be a split-up between the time controls (slow/fast), not only in bullet but in blitz as well, so as to achieve a more accurate evaluation of the playerbase, depending on their preferences in time control.
Small confession here: I only have a decent bullet rating thanks to Hyperbullet and I would probably get obliterated in a 1+1 or 2+1 tournament.
Here is a recent 1+0 game: Botez Gambit on move 6 and still managing to flag my opponent... Would I ever get away with this if there was increment? I don't think so...

TL;DR: Do you believe that slow and fast bullet and blitz should be split up? I am looking forward to hearing your opinion.
Cheers!
Agreed.

As hyperbullet is literally just little tactics and flagging, 2+1 is one that flagging is almost impossible. (Even though you have to think fast)
But those two are same bullet. I'm peraonally better at 1+0 than hyperbullet or slow bullet, and my rating will be like 1700 if I only play hyperbullet.

Blitz too. I prefer fast blitz, mostly no increments, but if I play 5+3, my blitz rating will also drop to like 1600.
You can't have a ton of different ratings for obvious design reasons. Same as to why we don't split variants regardless of any time controls. It makes no sense to have 1/2+0, 1+0, 1+1 or 3+0, 3+2, 5+3 ... all separately, so we stick to a few easy-to-understand tiers and draw the line somewhere. If you move 2+1 from bullet to blitz, you'll get similar complaints from 5+3 players. At the end of the day, it's your choice what you want to play, and if you play another mode and crash your rating, it will rebalance once you go back to your favorite mode.
I think lichess should have these time controls for bullet: ultrabullet(30 secs and under), hyper (45 - 90 seconds) and bullet(2+1)
