Every once in a while i'll play several matches with someone, and then i'll usually sign off with something like 'ggs'. Then i'll decline the rematch request, but some people just keep sending them (even after declining the next one.) For anyone that does this, why?

You don't have to decline every request. You can just ignore subsequent requests.
Oh of course I don't deny every request, that would be tedious.
Maybe they're hoping that when they keep on proposing, you will eventually agree
