This game transposed from rapid to bullet. You had 6:26 left on your clock at the end of the game. Plenty of time to at least avoid blatant blunders. :]
I think you have to accept that at almost any level you're going to make blunders and fall into traps, so I think it's important to spend time learning and figuring out how to respond to those inevitable blunders.
In this position, even if your rook is lost, you might think, "I could at least take a move to save my bishop." I agree with everyone else that it's rarely worth it to resign unless you're in a losing endgame.
