Are you referring to 7 ... h5 instead of 7 ... Na6 in the main line? Yes, that is a good move too. I play Na6 because it develops a piece. Im a bit nervous about his development advantage.

c5 imo is VERY flexible, and with correct play, can get white in some trouble, sure they can try some shenanigans, but just play regular chess :)

d5 is too typical, And in Jim's case, the opponent basically is ONE WITH 1.Nc3

yes, 1 ... c5 is also good. If you know the closed sicilian then it is the more practical approach for your game tomorrow, because Nc3 d5 e4 is a bit theory.

1...c5 is the top answer among good players.

@Sarg0n @nh78 I don't play the Sicilian Defense. If I play c5, I assume he'll play e4. What do I do against white's upcoming attack?

@FunnyAnimatorJimTV Playing the Closed Sicilian is rather easy compared to the Open and such, I recommend 2...a6 and then start a queenside storm
