Feature request: click squares for automatic capture/piece move

Would it be possible to implement a feature similar to ChessBase (or other industrial software) where, more or less

- clicking on an empty square places the only piece legally allowed to move there (if unique), otherwise highlights the different alternatives?

- clicking on an opponent piece captures the piece if uniquely determined, otherwise highlights the different alternatives?
I would also like to see this feature added. I'd still like to be able to confirm my moves though.

I've seen this feature request raised before, so I'm guess their are more people out there that would also like to see this implemented.

I hope this request gains some traction.
wouldn't this just encourage spamming clicks in time control, even ones you don't know are legal? at least with the current set-up you have to make moves you know are legal in order to flag.
This is interesting, but I have to agree with @Flourish. If this feature is added, it should probably not be allowed for bullet.
More than for playing, I was thinking about this feature in the context of the Analysis Board tool (so that especially in the opening, where the board is empty, it is much faster to set up a position - same goes for the endgames).

Whether or not, then, one wants to allow it for games as well can be easily discussed (maybe as you suggested it may be beneficial to restrict the time controls it applies to).
