How to stop others adding your team to their team battles without asking?

I hope one of the moderators can answer this question. This is becoming really annoying when someone just addes your team to their tournament without even notifying you. The big problem with this is that all such tournaments appear in the list of tournament for your team and confuse kids.

I created my first Team Battle the other day and was guilty of this, not with yourself I would like to make clear.
In my defense I would say I knew all the Teams and members of the clubs I was adding.
Nevertheless I can see this is bad manners and have rectified the situation by mailing them.
Yes it would be nice if the team added had the option of accepting or refusing.

Yeah, I mean, we all try to organise something nice and cool with many participants, that's understandable. I don't know about others, but we all a group of coaches who create events for our students. It is important to coordinate times (everyone has their own events etc), in addition to being careful who you put them to play on internet against.
It would really help if Lichess had an option of "accepting" or not the team battle offer for team leaders. Or alternatively, have an option of take your team out of anything you don't want.

Hello Fleur_Syigestie, right now I think there is no alternative for that, have the same problem with my teams.

On the other hand, the alternative would be that team captain(s) must approve team battle invitation.
