Real Time Chess

This is a new variant I suggest you add. First you specify a time interval (say, 10 seconds), and each player has that much time to make a move. If they fail to make a move in that time, then the move goes over to their opponent, who can now make another move in a row.

Say, for example, that a game starts 1. e4 e5 2. Nf3 and black doesn't respond in 10 seconds, then white can continue and play 3. Nxe5.

sounds like a draw to me. you could add a rule that if neither player makes a move for three intervals, its called a draw.
Sounds like regular chess without zugzwang, anyone who played the variant would simply always make a move within the timeframe unless they didn't want to move, basically adding a "pass" option.
