@KrishnaAgarwaL No, I don't think so: 9. hxg4 hxg4 10. Rfd1 [Knight moves lead to mate after Bh2+ Kh1 Bg1+ and mate on h2] gxf3 11. gxf3 and White might not be getting mated, but it's a worse position

@KrishnaAgarwaL @ruyrogers The trap doesn't have to lead to mate. Even after white returns the material, black has an open h-file to help any kingside attack.

I've seen games where a piece was sacrificed just to open the h-file with no short-term mate, but the pressure was enough to secure the win.
