I do this to opponents too. Resigning is a show of respect. You got outplayed and you had no chance yet you kept on wasting time. You showed your opponent no respect. So insulting. Therefor you get to wander around aimlessly on the board after your disgraceful performance while your opponent toys with you and just rubs it in.

IK i should have resigned but i usually dont like giving up so i just played to the end, and i respect my opponent for outplaying me but sometimes taunting can get pretty annoying tho.

You are totally the one at fault. It was your job to resign. Opponent is innocent ... except, perhaps, for enjoying making you look foolish.

I have suffered too many draws by stalemate from obviously winning positions. It's good to practice avoiding those traps.
