I just lost to a new account 3-10 in crazyhouse 1+0. I don't think that guy cheated because we both made terrible mistakes and I was just way too slow.
Not even one hour later this guy is marked as "This account is closed". Is there any chance to hear why this happened? It's always fun to have a rematch at a future date, now this will never happen.
There are many people open an account, play 1 or 2 tourneys, then close it.
So when the guys are banned by lichess they get a cheating badge, if the account is deleted by themselves it is marked as "This account is closed"?
Without looking at the games, my guess is he cheated.
@BigGreenShrek Stop this guessing of spreading "fake news". TY
@mdinnerspace What are you talking about? Getting identified as a cheater is one of the main reasons for account closings here.
You are at it again Shrek.
You are guessing once again and have zero 1st hand knowledge of "main reasons". You're spreading unnecessary gossip, attempting to create a negative atmosphere surrounding the very low percentage of engine users.
Like I said, I don't believe that guy cheated against me because we both blundered as if there is no tomorrow. He was just gone, perhaps I should call Forensic Files.
@mdinnerspace It seems you're the one at it again, making bad forum postings.
@Mollus#1 You had no refunded points, so I doubt that he cheated.
#2 I looked at his game history via advanced search, and his account seems to have been created yesterday, and he played in a bullet tournent shortly after his first game. So, it looks like
@savagechess2k got it right.
#3 "that many" There's more?
