Lack of Notice for Restarts

Okay, you sometimes need to restart Lichess. But could you please give more notice? You did it like three times with 2 minute notice.

I just played a game where Lichess restarted when I had a winning position, plenty of time, and ended up flagging because of the restart. That's frustrating. It makes me want to play elsewhere.
"Sir, internet user #39843295832894 isn't happy there was a server problem. Say he's going to leave".
"Damn. This site is sunk without internet user #39843295832894. Offer him money, and give him my personal assurance that the site will never again crash or require a reboot while he's playing."
Clearly this is a problem though, and given other posts in this forum, I'm not the only one who suffered from it.
Perhaps developers are lately more diligent than usual. :)

More changes implies more regressions and bugs, that is how it goes...
You're the only one posting hilarious "I'm going to quit! Don't make me do it!" posts though. Sure, server problems are annoying, and I'm sure they try to mitigate against it, but it happens from time to time. It's just a free game on a free chess site. Play, leave, whatever - it's all good. Don't take it - or yourself - too seriously.
I don't know what the answer is, but I don't think it's that funny.
There's clearly never going to be an "answer" to the problem of unplanned-extended shutdowns/restarts, is there? There is an answer to (threatening to) throw one's toys out of the pram though, and that's accepting that sometimes there are problems with websites and to not get too hung up on on the results of a single game.
