How come you can cheat in Puzzles?

You can cheat in Puzzles by selecting the hashtag link and opening it in a new tab, and then finding the best move using the engine, and then go back to the Puzzle tab and then do the best moves.
Yeah, that's why there are no puzzle leaderboards. Puzzles are here for people to improve their chess calculation and cheating really accomplishes nothing.
I wonder if it's allowed to boost or sandbag in puzzles.
Puzzles is a training tool. The rating is just a number used to find appropriate puzzles for you. Noone cares if you cheat, no one cares if you sandbag... Why would they? There is no competition element what so ever.
Well, I do jogging and I suppose I could cheat by leaving home, running behind the corner, sitting in my car and driving around for an hour. This never occured to me before but OP gave me some food for thought. How come they allow me to cheat?

It's a perfectly reasonable question. The rating is publicly displayed like the other ratings, and inflating a rating by cheating creates a false impression. Moreover, the easiest way to cheat could be prevented by a simple program tweak.
There are other ways to cheat at puzzles that are not that much more complicated.

If you want to change anything, the puzzle rating does not really need to be public, because as said it's not really meaningful anyways.
