Antichess! Why?

Hello all, I was wondering just how you can get good or have pride in mastering Antichess, as to me (in my opinion) it is really not such a nice chess variant. 1. Does anyone have some tips for the game

2. What is the best antichess comeback you have had?

Best regards

Antichess is an amazing variant to play against friends who know how chess pieces move but aren't particularly good at regular chess because the number of available moves are limited and many lines are absolutely forced. So they easily get the logic behind it. So it can be a gateway variant if you want to get your girlfriend interested in chess.
It's not that simple. Antichess theory is in most ways as complex as standard chess theory, particularly in the endgame, however because captures are forced there are less variations, although calculation is just as hard.
@Neverness yes e3 is a win in theory, however in reality the lines are quite complex and non-intuitive for a human to memorise.

Having said that, there are far fewer strong openings & positions to memorise which makes it much more accessible, whilst still maintaining a similar level of strategy & wit.
