@TheLastKn1ght that is an atomic game, meaning that pieces explode when taken. A typical atomic game:



as you can see, pieces explode. And kings can't capture, so they get checkmated in a situation like the end of this game.

And if a king explodes, the king's owner loses.

I have seen other games where nowry misses simple checkmates in games against low rated players, and I think he is consistently sandbagging his rating.

Atomic is my favorite variant and the one i'm best at.
