Lichess Mobile

Did lichess available for mobile? i think, it is the best when it is available.
No, there will most likely never be a mobile app. That would require the program to be modified to allow external clients to connect to it... meaning it would make it much easier for cheater scum to do what they do best (cheat!).

It should be playable on a 7-10 inch tablet, but unfortunately the user interface cannot scale to mobile phone screens (typically 3 to 4 inches) just yet.

Sorry about that.

That said! The amazing chess engine that Lichess uses for games against the computer is called Stockfish. It is currently the second best in the world, it's open source meaning it has no license fees... meaning you can get it for free!

If you have an iOS or Android device, you can find links for apps here:

Stockfish is the second best engine in the world of course, but don't worry, you can change the difficulty setting. I myself use DroidFish on my Android phone and play it on the train.

Have fun with Stockfish for mobile, dugong!
For mobile phone screens an interface could be realized with jQueryMobile.
I had a smartphone last year (galaxy S2), and lichess worked just fine on firefox mobile. I remember playing in the bus almost every day.
It works on mobile Chrome as well. Though mobile phone's screen is a bit too small to play conveniently, but it works.
Don't know if it's a feature or a bug, it also automatically hides game's chat bar and centers the chess board right in the middle of a screen.
