Are lichess ratings still about 200 points higher than chess.com/? Or have the ratings deflated a bit?
Who cares? My blitz is still 400 points higher than my FIDE.
What’s chess.com/? Is this that ancient community? Think I had played there 4000 years ago.
Ratings are relative, they can be used to compare players on the same chess website to each other, but comparing players from different websites is just useless.
Also, I agree with Savage and Sargon, what do I care about chess.com/? The only thing worse than that is chesscube.com

#1 Lichess ratings are 300 rating points higher than chess.com ratings.
@Bo0obyfischer
Depends.
This is very true for players who provisional boost; and end up at 2k+ after 10-15 games. But, not nearly as true for players who started around 1500 and struggled there way up over thousands of games.
But, reality is:
Lichess Rating or Ccom Rating has 0.0% correlation with the actual experience & skill of a player.
Plenty of 2ks that cant play their way out of a paper bag; and plenty of 1500s that would destroy most 2.5ks.
It is a number thats less important the numbers on basketball jerseys.

Why do people hate chess.com/? I can't say I've played on there.
@General-Advance
Chess.com:
1. Has advertisements
2. Only has a few variants
3. Moderators there will ban you if you even MENTION Lichess
4. They just try to copy Lichess in some aspects because Lichess is doing so well and they aren't
