Feature Request: Chat moderation option for simul host

Hello,

Since recently, i have been enjoying giving simuls on lichess as it is a very fun event and way to meet lots of new friendly players all over the world. I also try to communicate with the participants as much as possible, welcome them or answer their questions etc. I believe maintaining positive vibes in the event is as important as the games themselves. But sometimes unfortunate things happens by persons who come to chat with not the best intentions and simply spam or harass/swear to other players randomly etc. It simply ruins the fun of the event. Even though in tournaments time-outs in such cases work quite fast nowadays, unfortunately it takes much more time for auto-moderation to take action. (In one instance for example it took almost half an hour for the bot to take action and time out, this means we were exposed to random spam messages or bad words for half hour non-stop and the communication was impossible.)

I'd therefore like to request a feature to have an ability to moderate the chat for the host, to be able to react much more quickly in such instances and to ensure much smoother and fun experience for both the participants and the host him/herself.

(I know one can try building a team and host the simul inside the team try to have little bit more control, but i find this solution ineffective and too exclusive as it also does not solve the root of the issue. So i hope Lichess takes this feature request seriously.)

Thanks a lot in advance!
I was playing simul too and 2 people were spamming, swearing, it was very annoying and this event lasted 30 minutes
moderators need to be faster or a bot needs to be built to ban spammers
I was in the simul too! It would be a very good idea if the guy that created the simul can also mute people if they find them annoying.
Or perhaps an option to turn the chat off. That option exists in arenas, etc.
@KeithDenning It might be an option as well, but i believe cutting the communication for the %99 because of a %1 is just unjust and unfair to the %99. Why should they be deprived off their right to communicate after all because of others? Interaction is very important part of simul events in my opinion.
Fair enough, but it is a part of the suite of tools available to TDs. Temporary bans for poor behaviour, or closing the whole thing down if it really gets out of hand.
