Also noteworthy is that normally pictures contain info like the program it was edited in. Like the one from Angel contains: Adobe Photoshop Express Windows 10 (Windows)

The other ones do not have those.

I couldn't find them on Kickstarter (though I found SquareOff, and plenty of other chess projects)

I’m working on it! I wrote a lot of comments on their Facebook page with a link to the Lichess blog post. I wrote a review on their page too, saying the same thing. And I’m trying my best to get Google search to autocomplete “regium chess” with “scam” xD

After looking into it more deeply, it seems an absolute scam. The @Serpie work was stunning. I feel really grateful for the chess community. It's like you can't mess with them. There are people really smart searching out for everything. I hope that KickStarter to be a real downfall for Regium Chess.
