When you finally get your ADD under control and start to play like you did 2 decades ago...

This is the first game and sentiment that I felt worth sharing:

Do you know what it's like to know a whole different level of chess, and have to salivate over it in hindsight and memory, or vicariously through others?

Do you know what it's like to play so strong and solid and deadly...only to have to resign your ambitions to losing to people whom you would have completely destroyed in a past life?

Imagine that you once played really good chess; extremely enjoyable and sharp chess; inventive, resourceful, creative and artistic chess; scientific and mathematical chess; ...until someone hit you in the head with a hammer and you could no longer think straight.

Imagine what it would be like having to be relegated to the role of "bystander" "onlooker" "has been" "once was" for 20 years...

*****It's a beautiful thing when someone gets their ADD under control,
and gets to remember what it was like playing REAL chess 2 decades ago.*****

it really is a puzzle problem. -11.5 vs. 0.0
