I think i might be banned but I didn't know I couldn't use opening explorer from tools in correspond

I just played a correspondence game with my friend CalbernandHowbe, it lasted 8 moves before the game ended where apparently "cheat detected". Lichess thinks that I am cheating: lichess.org/y4j361jz/black I thought that because it is the opening, it is clear that i am not cheating. However, upon talking to my friend CalbernandHowbe, he explained to me that it is because I used the opening explorer option under the "tools" bar at the top. However, I thought that the opening explorer was fine to use in correspondence games, and i did not realise that there is an opening explorer in the analysis board in the game itself. Hence Lichess thought that i was cheating because i used this tool where the engine is automatically turned on. What should I do now?!?!! i have not been marked as a cheat yet, nor has my account been closed. Please help me!! Thank you so much!

The problem is, the opening explorer in the "Tools" shows an engine evaluation and recommended moves. The analysis board in the game does not. Since it was with a friend and you didn't know the rule, you might be able to appeal if they decide to mark you as a cheater.

I had the same thing happen to me before. There's no need for an appeal. You were caught, and you were given a second chance. Just be careful next time.
