Many top grandmasters nowadays prefer the Italian.

(jk) Btw, Really good game there, totally outplayed your opponent.But have to say he did play a lot dubiously toward the end.Good game ! And yeah the Italian is a good opening for players of all levels, starting from the beginners till the Super Gms
