tactics puzzle https://lichess.org/training/71197

This puzzle is rated 2026. I find it pretty difficult, and I strongly believe it is close to the 2400 range.

Anyone who solves puzzles regularly please give your opinion.
I'd say it's one of those 'strange' puzzles, maybe people use engines on these 'unsolvable' ones. So rating becomes secondary.

I see the puzzles as training to think and execute winning moves like Stockfish, playing the optimal move in each position. Compared with the puzzles on chess.com it's a huge difference 80-90% of the time. At chess.com the puzzles are clearly human with studies now and then. Here at lichess no studies at all, instead computer calculated variations.
I spend most of my puzzle time with a 1700 rating, but I did manage to solve this one due to your warning that it was extra tough. Maybe one of the best lessons that I can get from puzzles is that chess is tough, that is puzzles take a long time to solve and I still make bad mistakes. I can usually solve the captcha since they have that hint, Black plays; checkmate in one move.

The puzzle is rated 2008 now
Problems are my passion.
This scheme is difficult and his score (very low for now) is bound to rise quickly.
You lose a lot of time to understand that moves like Bxh7, Bd4, Qd2 do not lead to anything.
When the attention finally shifts, the solution appears clear.
Very beautiful
Problems with high rating usually have several tempting but wrong moves. This puzzle has no tempting move. If you eventually look at right move, you just understand that it is the best. So only 2000.
Example of 2400 puzzle for compare. lichess.org/training/71270
Difficult 4th move (at least for me). Only 2 possibilty and both give advantage. In one of them white gets (in main line) R+3P vs N+3P (or Q+R+3P vs Q+N+3P) and nevertheless cannot win. Need to see 20 plies ahead to understand that.
Found it right, after spending much time calculating moves that might be good but led to nothing. When I found the right move I didnt calculate all variations but it was the only move that gave something for White.

The upside of this difficult puzzles is that they train you for real game situations! I calculate (and visualize!) very well OTB when doing puzzles for 4 to 5 days prior to the game.
