Why when you block someone can you see their chat in spectator room when you are analyzing.
It does work properly. Blocks don't cover spectator rooms.
Can we get some screenshots of the problem so it can be diagnosed easier and then the devs can get around to fixing it quicker (block out the players name)
Because Lichess is great – really, really great – but CAN'T get its sh*t together in particular regard.
I mean you can just take my word for it. But this cretin started taunting me in the spectator room when I analyzed a game I'd just finished against them (during which they trolled) after blocking
I also don't like how you still get paired against player you've block in tournaments.
@jermichael Sure, I will block Magnus Carlsen during a Titled Arena - that'll do it.
Untick the Spectator Room checkbox to hide it. This won't delete or prevent messages, but will at least remove the distraction.
@sheldonleecooper515 Well that's clearly why they still pair you against blocked players, or else you could just game the system and block all the stronger players. I just hate being paired against the "1000" rated player who's some how in first place in the U1500 tournament when they're clearly sandbagging.
