This is an interesting topic. The thing is on paper, its much more simpler than in real life. I would think that I would give my life to save anyone, even if they were just normal citizens, but for criminals it might be a different story. However once you actually are in real life, and you're put in the situation, its much harder. in a real situation, you suddenly have to face, if I choose to do this, then thats it, earth is gone (depending on your religion/belief) and there's no turning back. Its a lot harder to choose if you were in the actual situation. Quite an interesting topic.

well, if I was in such a situation, morality wouldnt matter. you must preserve your own life in a situation, as your brain sqitches to a fight or flight response.

The topic is very deep and realistic.

One can know it's importance only during such a instance of life and death situation. I, without any pressure from anyone, say wholeheartedly that I would die for anyone, not only a friend but for every person, even for a stranger to me.
