Which is better?

What is better? lichess.org or www.chess.com/? (I would like to know because I don't know if www.chess.com is great or not).

Lichess is way better. Keep away from chess.com it is a waste of time.

chess.com......... it's got better statistics, better tactics............ lichess has a free engine, tho. on chess.com, you gotta pay for that silicon.....

I would stick to lichess. Every statement by people above is correct, but I'd like to also add onto how much computer usage chess.com takes. While their site is great and better funded, to run it smoothly, you need a very good computer. I enjoy lichess more, as I can use it on nearly any computer I own with ease. A lot of chess.com is also just a battle in the forums, so it gets a little irritating. Lastly, they don't have atomic chess (a chess variant), which is a reason I'm sure both @simplicial and I can agree on. :)

Yeah that's honestly the main reason I don't use chess.com

lichess is better, I hate chess.com because the board settings is uncomfortable, it dont let me see my pieces well. However it is more complicated and it is similar to gmail and yahoo browsers. As if it is a chatting website!
