Want to watch football

I am really NEW to football. (I've been avoiding it since my childhood.) Can you recommend me some good proffesional team to watch their matches? I want to take side with a team that is similar or equal to the level of magnus carlsen in chess.

What's that spell? (Unless I screwed up)?

LIVERPOOL.

The closest I can imagine to football perfection. The very pinnacle of football grace, grit and beauty.

Of course, others may disagree. Especially if they don't mind being incorrect.

Real Madrid. tactically it's what's best with Ancelotti, even if they missed the classico and I don't like their style of play.

It’s, let’s say theoretical.

Ditto for Manchester City, even if I prefer this 4-man midfield which leaves good offensive possibilities.

if you want to see goals, choose Bayern, their offensive force is formidable, even if tactically, it is uglier than the previous two.

although Liverpool version 24/25 has been undefeated for more than a month, I will not compare them to Carlsen (at least not with Carlsen prime). it would rather be Liverpool 2018-19 which was in all its Klopp-style glory.

Liverpool are solid today, remaining offensive but lacking world-class stars to take over from Salah and Van Dijk. certainly, there is the potential of Szlobozlai, but Nunez is relatively below expectations and Jota also compared to Mané and Firmino. Alisson is also struggling with his injuries. Salah, Alisson, Van dijk, Robertson and TAA are not eternal and will one day have to take a well-deserved retirement in the midst of their trophies.

this season is a season of transition in terms of coaching but also in terms of players, which means that this Liverpool is certainly beautiful to see, but experimental because Klopp is lacking even if Slot does a great job

the ideal Liverpool in 2025-26 would be:

GK Mamaradshvili

CB Konaté, Tah (or Boscagli would be a serious lead)

RB Aït Nouri (or Semedo because United are on board), LB Dumfries (or Calabria)

CM Slobozlai, McAllister

MOC Gravenberch

RW Diaz, LW Zalewski (or Marmoush)

ST David
Have you considered football management, @CSKA_Moscou ?

I'd give you a recommendation, if it would mean anything to anybody. Unfortunately, it would not.

Not with respect to football, anyway.

Unfortunately.
Brazilian football is chaotic, but fun in some aspects i really recomend it!

I assure you, I have a few seasons of football management on dream team video games experience.

but above all a lot of time watching the transfer window and trabsfermarket rumors.

Mamaradshvili was already an option this summer, Ait Nouri interests several English big names, including the two Manchester ones, and a world-class ST or one with good experience in the championship would be a good option if only to compete with Nunez and have a real duel with Haaland in PL. Jonathan David ticks all the boxes, between good European experience and a good start to the championship, his fast and versatile style could recall Suarez or Firmino. Marmoush is a real interest, but I'm less confident given his experiences outside of Frankfurt, he should gain experience before joining such a great house as Liverpool. Zalewski is a cheap option who could be an interesting supersub, although his path appears to be heading to Turkey - Besiktas or Galatasaray. Tah is at the end of his contract soon and is coming off several very good performances with Leverkusen, a real gem polished by the coaching talent of Xavi
