It is reasonable to assume that a cat has one tail.
It is also reasonable to assume that no cat has eight tails.
It is obvious that one cat has one more tail than no cat.
Therefor a cat has nine tails.
What if I assume a cat has seven tails?
If it takes 1 man 60 seconds to dig a hole
And 60 men can do the work of 1 man 60 times as fast
Then 60 men could dig the same hole in 1 second.

@Vertonghen If you assume a cat has seven tails, there would seem to be a prima facie case for assuming you still don't get it.
Everything I say is a lie.
The hypothesis that all ravens are black is the logical equivalent of Anything which is not black is not a raven. Therefore, each time you find something which is not black and not a raven it confirms the hypothesis that all ravens are black. This illustrates a limitation of logic.
