A chess grandmaster gives one (who is a chess arbiter and tournament organiser of some public enterprises and this makes the joke tragicomic) king and two bishops against king and asks for the checkmate. (Note that the two bishops has the SAME COLOUR squares in the position)
It is rumoured that the person still thinks for the solution.

It's supposed to be a doctor (or surgeon) and the listener is supposed to think "how could the boy be the doctor's son, since his dad is also injured?" And then you say "Ha! The doctor's his mom, you sexist!" But unfortunately, you only demonstrated your own sexism by replacing "doctor" with "nurse" since you couldn't fathom a female doctor. This doesn't even make sense, since as far as I know, nurses are not generally the ones to perform an operation.
